Grave Clothes is a four-week series that explores what it means to truly live in the freedom of the resurrection. In John 11, Lazarus comes out of the grave alive—but still wrapped in the clothes of death. In the same way, many of us have experienced new life in Christ, yet still carry things that keep us from living fully free. Grave clothes are more than the sins that so easily entangle us—they are anything from the old life that still tries to cling to the new one. Through the stories of Jesus raising the dead, we’ll uncover the grave clothes we’re called to let go of—suspicion about God, a false sense of self, the situations we’re still wrapped up in, and the systems that try to keep us bound. This series invites us not just to come out of the grave, but to be unbound—so we can walk in the fullness of the life Jesus has already secured for us.
